At approximately 2:10 p.m., Moody High School was notified of a disturbance in the community. Out of an abundance of caution, we immediately placed the campus in a Hold status. All students reported to classrooms, and the hallways were cleared.
At approximately 2:16 p.m., the Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) cleared the area, and we lifted the Hold.
Following the Hold, we conducted a Lockdown Drill to reinforce our campus safety procedures. The drill was completed successfully, and we have returned to regular campus operations. All students have transitioned to their 6th-period classes.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we work to keep our students and staff safe.

We appreciate our Moody families for partnering with us to make regular, on-time attendance a priority throughout the school year.
💙💛 Trojans, keep showing up, working hard, and making each day count.
