9/8/25 Update: Due to technology issues, we will resume our regular bell schedule after 2nd period on Monday, Sept 8. The testing window for the Beginning of Year Universal Screener (BOY) begins September 8 and will conclude September 26. The purpose of a Beginning of Year Universal Screener is to help teachers gather baseline data on course-specific skills to monitor student progress throughout the school year. Please be advised of the following schedule. We ask that students come to school well rested and on time during their scheduled test(s) to ensure the best testing outcome for your child. Seniors who are normally excused for any class periods must follow this schedule on these dates for attendance and testing purposes. The Corpus Christi ISD Board of Trustees adopted new discipline procedures tied to a policy regulating student use of personal electronic devices, in compliance with Texas House Bill 1481. Under the policy, students must turn off and store their personal communication devices in their backpacks or submit them to the front office upon entering school. Devices must remain off and stored until the end of the school day.
