About the Moody Information Technology Academy
The Moody Information Technology (MIT) Academy (Emphasis on Audio-Video Production) was established in 2018. The purpose of this program is to provide students with an education as well as the experiences needed for entering the many careers in the information technology industry with an emphasis on audio and video productions. Information technology with emphasis on audio-video production careers focus on digital design and media production, digital arts and animation, 3-D modeling and digital video and audio design. Students in the Moody Information Technology (MIT) Academy will follow a Business and Industry endorsement track with a focus on audio/video career cluster.
Moody Information Technology Academy students will experience a variety of opportunities including, but not limited to:
- Pre-AP, AP Dual Credit
- Articulated Credit Courses
- Create news videos and video game programming
- Produce football game marquee messages
- Web Designs and web game development
